Legal Warranty of Good Working Order
Covered new Wine Cell’R wine cellars purchased by Quebec consumers on or after October 5, 2026 are backed by a 6-year legal warranty of good working order, starting from delivery. It covers parts, labour and the reasonable shipping costs required for repair.
Purchases made before that date are excluded from this new warranty, even if delivered afterwards. All other legal warranties continue to apply.
Exclusions and damage
Normal maintenance, parts replaced as part of that maintenance, and damage caused by misuse are not covered.
Damage resulting from moving the unit in a manner not compliant with the manufacturer’s instructions, including transporting the cellar lying down, or from a power outage or voltage drop, will be excluded depending on its cause and the applicable legal provisions.
